The Bunny We Thought We Were Just Bringing to Brimfield

When we packed up the giant antique bunny mold for Brimfield, we thought it would simply be another fun conversation piece for the weekend.

Big? Absolutely. Slightly ridiculous to transport? Also yes 😂

But sometime during the show, two women stopped almost immediately when they saw it. Before we could even explain what it was, they told us they recognized it.

Back in 1982, they had won the chocolate bunny made from this exact mold — a 75 lb chocolate bunny they still remembered all these years later.

And then, after the show, they emailed us the photo 🤍

That’s the part of this business we never really expect. Sometimes the pieces we find aren’t just “things.” They’re memories people forgot existed until they see them standing in front of them again.

A giant bunny mold somehow made its way from a chocolate shop decades ago… to a field in Brimfield… back into someone’s story.

Moments like this are a big part of why we love what we do.
